I work as both a Career Consultant and a Life Alignment Coach. They are different roles, but they work best together.
As a Career Consultant, I provide career coaching and practical career guidance to support career development, career transitions, interview preparation, interview performance and confident decision-making.
As a Life Alignment Coach, I help you step back and look at the bigger picture. This work focuses on values, confidence, energy and alignment, so your career fits the life you want now, not the one you’ve outgrown.
Together, this approach helps you move from feeling stuck or uncertain to feeling clear, grounded and in control of your career direction.

Hello there, I’m Coach Paula!
A fulfilling career is built with clarity, confidence and purpose.
My journey began at TWL Training Ltd, where I coordinated training programmes and supported learner development. That role sparked a passion for helping people realise their potential and set me on a path of over ten years as an employability mentor and trainer before moving into career coaching.
In 2023, I founded Donnan Coaching Services to help professionals and graduates build stronger, more meaningful careers. Through personalised coaching, I support clients to realign their direction, rebuild confidence and take clear, strategic steps toward their goals.
Recently, I became an Accredited Strengthscope® Practitioner, expanding the way I help clients discover and use their strengths with confidence. This approach brings fresh energy to my coaching, helping individuals identify what truly drives them and use that insight to perform at their best.
Alongside running my business, I work as an Executive Coach with Executive Connexions and as an Employability Advisor with GEMS NI, supporting professionals at all stages of their career journey across the UK and Ireland.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences from Queen’s University Belfast, a Professional Certificate in Personnel Practice, a Diploma in Managing Training and Development, and an ILM Level 5 in Effective Coaching and Mentoring.
